Johannesburg – Beauty Bubbly and Baking

After a successful Beauty Bubbly and Baking event, taking place at the Victoria Waterfront last year, we were very keen on doing the event in JHB.

Our venue in JHB for this year was Miele, where our lovely event was held at their Bryanstone offices.

Shiseido who is one of the most famous Asian brands in the world and a Come wine with us favourite, shared with us some winning tips, recipes and techniques when it comes to your beauty routine. Sam and her team from Shiseido joined us and it was truly special seeing the girls do their thing. Guests were shown how to apply makeup in minutes and how to look pout perfect every day.

Our bubbly brand for this year was the ever so popular and well know Laborie MCC. Nadia Ruiters who represents Laborie in Gauteng, gave us a lovely intro on Bubbly and what makes it different to Methode Cap Classique . Education in a fun way as we like to call it!

The Cake man Franco who is ever so popular in Johannesburg, entertained us with his fun and easy to do recipes by using some of NOMU’s yummy baking kits. He also prepared all the yummy treats for the bubbly high tea, which included NoMu raspberry and vanilla brownies, NoMu tomato chilli pesto scones served with brie and basil cream, Nomu cranberry bran muffins, Salmon and dill quiches, Crostini’s with fillet, caramelized onions and rocket as well as chicken and avo mini wraps. All of this lovely food was enjoyed with some lovely Laborie Brut, Rose and Blanc de Blanc Cap Classique.

Our highlight lady of the day was the ever so popular Nox from Phonology Flowers who blew everyone away yet again, with her awesome info and scoops on flowers. She chatted about how to look after them, with a few industry tips as well as the power and essence of smell.
